The staff were warm, friendly and chatty. I felt like I was talking to my mum, which I really liked 😊 I wanted somewhere quirky, cosy and homely for my weekend in Cork, and Rose Lodge delivered. The room had everything I needed, but I enjoyed the rest of the hotel even more. If you like art, culture and poetry, you'll appreciate the pictures and paintings on the walls. I spent a while looking at them. I'm not usually much of a breakfast person, but I really enjoyed the wide range on offer. I'd say to consider Rose Lodge if you're staying in Cork. I had a great time and wouldn't regret coming back 😊

The rooms are on the small side, and getting luggage to the top floor can be quite a climb, especially if you've brought a lot. Still, it was a cosy place within walking distance of plenty of shops. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and gave us great suggestions for places to eat. I'd love to stay again.

Such a nice little guesthouse. The staff are absolutely lovely, and the location is great. Free parking is a real bonus, and the continental breakfast that came with the stay did the job. The Wi-Fi had a good connection throughout and decent speed. The only room left when I booked was a single, but it had the biggest single bed I've ever slept in, and it was really comfortable. I'd gladly stay here again on my next visit to Cork.

The room we got was really spacious, and I was very happy with the stay overall. The place was clean and nice, and the staff welcomed us warmly and were helpful. The walls are the one downside, they're so thin that we could hear people walking and talking in the hallway from our room.

The staff were very friendly and the room was nice, though very small. There was no lift, so we had to haul our luggage up about four flights of stairs. Our room was beside a busy road, and cars speeding up it woke us around midnight. I'm not blaming the owner for that.
