Hayfield Manor Hotel

The breakfast buffet was the most amazing I've seen, and dining overall lived up to expectations, with something for every taste. What really makes Hayfield Manor special, though, is how friendly and helpful the staff are. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. From arrival, we felt wrapped up in luxury, with every detail considered. Hayfield Manor made our stay feel like an experience to savour, not just a night away. It's my favourite place to stay, without exception.

The room was gorgeous, the facilities were excellent, and the staff managed to be both friendly and professional. My fiancé and I came to Hayfield Manor for our engagement, and it felt really special from the start. They took our bags and gave us complimentary champagne for the occasion, so we felt very well looked after. Breakfast was outstanding too, though be ready to roll back to your room afterwards. We'd both love to return.

Being right beside UCC was handy for a stroll, though it also meant driving to get anywhere else. Our room was nice, and when I had to switch rooms because of a facilities issue, the staff were very helpful. The entrance hall is impressive, the staff were lovely, and the food was great. I liked having a proper breakfast menu and full service alongside the buffet. Some areas didn't feel up to the rest of the hotel. The pool area seemed below its standard, with plastic bench seating that needed cleaning, a plastic hedge by the jacuzzi that looked cheap, and paint that needed cleaning or updating. I enjoyed the stay, but for a five-star rating, it felt more like 4.75 to me.

Breakfast porridge and steak were both perfect, and everything we ate tasted amazing. The pool area felt magical, especially the outdoor jacuzzi under the open sky. The sauna and steam room were cozy too, and the whole hotel had a wonderful atmosphere. Our room was stunning, with a very comfortable bed and stylish, thoughtful decor. Service felt exceptional from arrival. Daria deserves a special mention: she speaks our language, kindly signed a card for us in Ukrainian, and called to see if everything was to our liking. That kind of attention is rare and heartwarming. We had a truly relaxing stay and would love to come back. A heartfelt thank you to the whole team for making the visit so memorable!
