Sea Lodge Hotel

We stayed in March of 2022, and the pub and restaurant were a real highlight. The staff were knowledgeable and professional, and everything we tried from the menu was delicious. It was lovely to get away from the big city, chat with the locals, and enjoy their warmth, joy, and openness to a bit of craic. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and well appointed. Our bright, clean room had lovely linens and a view across the bay of the Atlantic and Kerry mountains. Stunning barely covers it. I'd happily recommend this as a place to spend a few days with a small group or a few families visiting Ireland.

Breakfast was fantastic, beautifully presented and cooked to order, with the best coffee I've had at a hotel breakfast. The rooms had the most comfortable mattress I've experienced in a hotel, and the location is beautiful. Just be aware that during our stay Sea Lodge couldn't offer lunch or evening meals because of staff shortages. It didn't affect our visit. We ate just down the road at the lobster, which was perfect. Get a margarita, the best in Ireland! The staff at Sea Lodge were friendly and accommodating, and I'd be glad to stay here again.

The staff were so friendly and took excellent care of us. We had a lovely view from our balcony, and the hotel sits in an amazing setting. My husband and I stayed for a few nights recently. The food was excellent and very good value. It's a great place to unwind and relax. I'd definitely recommend it and plan to visit again.

We stayed in room #1, which was large and had two doors opening onto a small rooftop patio. The bathroom floor was heated, a welcome touch in the cold, wet, windy winter weather. Breakfast had both cooked and buffet options. We stayed in for dinner and enjoyed homemade pizza, though for our taste it could have spent a few more minutes in the oven. The poached pear dessert was the highlight, a real family treasure. We received a warm welcome at Sea Lodge Hotel, and the entrance lobby has a coastal elegance.
