The lodge has a breathtaking view, and it’s only a short ride into town for plenty of lunch and dinner choices. Ann was a great host to talk with, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. She also accommodated our gluten-free breakfast needs, which we appreciated.

The dining room view was spectacular, and Ann’s food and tips on places to visit were wonderful. The mountain route I took was the scenic, or maybe scary, way, but the views were unforgettable. Remember to honk as you drive down the Currane Lodge driveway, since it’s a single lane and cars may be coming around the corner. The room had thoughtful personal touches, and we had a lovely stay. This was my favorite B&B of our whole Ireland tour. I’d return in a heartbeat. Loved it!

The coffee and breakfast were delicious, and the water pressure in the shower was the best we came across on the rest of our trip. The beds were so comfortable too. Currane Lodge was the first of many B&Bs we stayed in around Ireland, and we really enjoyed meeting Ann and hearing about her family. She’s a wonderful hostess, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay in this peaceful spot, with beautiful surroundings and stunning views of the lake and hills from the picnic area or breakfast room. The breakfast room wasn’t open yet, unfortunately, but hopefully it will be soon. Our toddler had plenty of room to play both outside and in our spacious room. Anne was kind and helpful, with good ideas for what to see and do on the peninsula. Breakfast was excellent every day, fresh, homemade, and delicious. I highly recommend the lodge!
