voco The Club – Dublin Gateway by IHG

We had a lovely, relaxing birthday night away and would definitely come back. The room was beautiful, with chocolates, shortbread, crisps and two bottles of wine waiting for us. At dinner, the food was gorgeous, and we enjoyed cocktails, including one on the house. We chose the €50 each offer, which included three courses and a bottle of wine. When we arrived, a staff member came over while reception was busy with another guest and offered us complimentary Prosecco. The receptionist was lovely when she checked us in.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the customer service was excellent throughout our one-night stay at Voco the Club. We had free drinks when we arrived and before dinner, which was a lovely touch. The spacious, clean, modern room was very comfortable, though the shower water wasn’t hot on either day. The location was handy, just off the motorway and a short drive from Kildare Village. We enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi, and the food was delicious, especially the sirloin steak. The sticky toffee pudding was great too, but I wouldn’t recommend the brownie because it came out cold. We had a lovely stay.

The staff kept telling us they’d look after us and make sure we had a relaxing break, and they really made the stay feel special. They even asked the chef to make chateaubriand when we were disappointed it wasn’t on the menu, and he kindly cooked it for us. The food was amazing, and we can’t wait to come back for Sunday roast. We stayed for my wife’s birthday, just a short journey from home. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the hot tub and sauna were a great way to unwind. There was a lovely birthday treat in the room and another after lunch for my wife. The outside doesn’t look like much when you arrive, but once you’re inside, you feel relaxed straight away. We’ll be back!

We went with two other couples for a Saturday night and had a fantastic time. The rooms were beautiful, with comfy beds and a massive shower. Check-in was easy, and lunch at the bar was delicious. We got the bed, breakfast and dinner offer for €280 per room, and were delighted that the full dinner menu was included with no supplement charges. Dinner was amazing, and the staff were friendly and very professional. Breakfast was delicious too. Can’t wait to go back.
