Cahernane House Hotel

The free bikes were my favorite part. Cahernane connects to a bike path into the national park, so as a very amateur cyclist I loved not having to ride alongside traffic. I came to Killarney without a car and could walk into town in about 20-25 minutes. The distance from the city centre was worth it for the secluded, peaceful feel and easy access to the park. I stayed in the Coach House in summer 2025, in a beautifully redone, comfortable, quiet room with gorgeous views. The staff were all lovely and helpful, and breakfast was great. Cahernane made a perfect base for Killarney. I rarely write hotel reviews, but I've thought about this stay so often since the trip that I had to share. I'd highly recommend it and can't wait to go back.

Mary was the special part of our stay. She was amazing and made us feel like family. The surroundings at this fine hotel were wonderful too, and being a Hilton SLM was a bonus for us as Hilton Honors members and cardholders. We spent two nights at the Cahernane during our 10-day trip around Ireland. It was our favorite of all the hotels we stayed in, even though they were all excellent. The service was top-notch, the atmosphere was great, and the rooms were big and clean. You can't go wrong staying here. We hope to come back some day to see Mary again!

My fiancé and I stayed at Cahernane House Hotel the night before and the night of our wedding, and it made the whole experience feel even more magical than we imagined. The staff were kind and genuinely warm at every turn, going above and beyond with our requests. We felt welcomed like family during such an important moment. The room was breathtaking, elegant, cosy, romantic, and beautifully designed to suit the manor. Waking up to those sweeping mountain views felt like a dream. The grounds and manor house were even more beautiful than we'd expected, from the tree-lined driveway to the thoughtful care and detail everywhere on the property. We've travelled quite a bit, and this is the first hotel that's become one of the highlights of an entire trip. Cahernane House Hotel will always be special to us, and we're already dreaming about coming back for an anniversary. Thank you for making our wedding stay so unforgettable.

My daughter and I spent Easter at Cahernane House and had such a lovely time. The view across Killarney National Park was stunning, and everyone made us feel so welcome. They even arranged an Easter egg hunt for the children, which my daughter was thrilled about. We nearly stayed longer and would love to come back someday.
