Richard and Kay made us feel almost like family. They were so welcoming and seemed ready to do anything for us. The breakfast was freshly cooked just how we asked, with plenty of tea, thankfully. Everything from the hallway and guest lounge with TV to the bedrooms and en suite bathrooms was decorated and kept to a very high standard. To me, it felt like a five star place at a fair price. I'd strongly recommend staying there.

Kay, who runs Havens Rest, is such a sweet lady. The tiling, the tidiness and the breakfast were all lovely, but it was how well everything came together that made this place feel like much more than an average B&B. A grand place to stay if you're planning to visit the Ring of Kerry.

George welcomed us, showed us around, and even booked dinner at Macs for us. Kay was at breakfast the next day and was friendly and helpful with ideas for the rest of our day. We didn't have parking trouble, though there wasn't a lot of space. The room was comfortable, with a nice coffee setup, but felt full of ornate furniture. It was a bit warm for sleeping, and being on a main road made getting fresh air difficult. The bathroom was nice and had what we needed. Breakfast included fresh meats, cheeses and yogurts. Google Maps got us there easily, and it was a short drive to the city centre. A nice stay, close to town.
