Killarney Avenue Hotel

A lovely meal with perfect draught beer and stout. The rooms are well supplied and nicely appointed. You can tell the owners have plenty of money.

The central location at Killarney Avenue Hotel made it easy to wander to coffee shops, pubs, and little places to explore. Onsite parking was especially handy in the busy city centre. The hotel was spotless, well maintained, and genuinely comfortable. Killarney is now one of my all-time favourite cities, and this stay was a big part of why. I'll definitely return.

Getting around town from this hotel is so easy. Everything is walkable, the building has charming looks, and the front desk service was great. I also enjoyed the Celtic show, which runs several nights a week for a small extra ticket price, and the lobby bar is solid. The Ring of Kerry, my favourite tourist stop in Ireland, is a short drive away. The room and parking were the main hassles. Shower pressure was poor, and the thin walls meant I heard the neighbours every night. The free underground garage is hard to navigate, with tight spaces. My partner had to get out of the car each time to guide me in, and once I had to climb over to the passenger seat to get out because the car beside us was so close. There's a public lot next door, but it costs a euro per hour from the morning, so plan for that. I'd stay again for the location and amazing staff, though the noise could be difficult if you're a light sleeper, and parking can be trying if you have a car.

The room was nice, and we enjoyed our three nights here. It's in a great location in Killarney. Parking is limited and tight, so we chose a nearby lot since we were heading out on trips around the area. I'd stay here again.
