Killarney Royal Townhouse

Joanne, if I've got her name right, looked after us at both lunch and breakfast. She was warm, attentive and so welcoming, and made the meals even better. Lunch at the Fig restaurant was delicious, with excellent service, and breakfast the next morning had lots of choice and was beautifully prepared. We stayed one night at the Killarney Royal Townhouse and were delighted. Our room was spotless, comfortable and finished to a high standard. The hotel feels cosy and welcoming, and everything was beautifully kept. It was a real treat, and we're already looking forward to another visit.

John, the bellhop, made a big difference from the minute we arrived. He was friendly and helpful, shared great local insight, and went out of his way to make sure we felt looked after. That warmth set the tone for the whole stay. The Killarney Royal is a beautiful hotel, with comfortable, well-appointed rooms and a welcoming yet refined feel. Its location right in the heart of town is perfect. We'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Killarney.

The bar was where we had both breakfast and lunch, since the restaurant was being refurbished, and both meals were to a very high standard. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of Killarney town. The service really stood out. We got complimentary whiskey when we arrived, evening turn-down service and complimentary scones when we left. The staff were so attentive and the rooms felt warm and inviting. This was the best hotel stay my family and I have had in years, and I'd highly recommend it.

The location couldn't be handier, right by the train station and just steps from pubs, shops and attractions. The hotel was clean and lovely, and the staff were so well trained and professional. Food and service were impeccable, and breakfast was amazing too. We had a brilliant stay. I can't recommend it enough!
