Castlerosse Park Resort

We had a lovely Christmas break here with our two small children. The pool and steam room were great, and the kids loved them too. A few days before we arrived, someone called to suggest pre-ordering Christmas Day dinner from Centra on Muckross Road. That was generous advice, and the food was absolutely delicious. I wish every city had a Centra serving food as good as Shehan's Centra at Muckross Rd. Thank you for the recommendation! We did miss having a little Christmas tree, though we did receive a lovely welcome gift of chocolates and wine. The staff were very friendly, and we're definitely planning to return in summer. Highly recommended for everyone.

Comfortable place in a great location, with very friendly staff at the leisure center. The WiFi wasn't up to par.

The house beside the hotel was cute and functional, with comfy beds. Having a washing machine and dishwasher was a plus, though some kitchen basics were missing, like dish soap, salt, and pepper. The pool was great, and the bar was nice too, but they took over 20 minutes to make a cocktail and three beers. The people were nice, and it's a great place generally, near Ross castle.

During our Ireland trip, five of us spent one night here in two rooms. The rooms were fine, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was one of the best we'd had across several hotels. We drove the Ring of Kerry that day, which made for a fantastic road trip. We'd stay here again if we return to the area.
