Larkfield House BB

John & Kathy were so welcoming and had useful suggestions for our plans and things to do. Breakfast was fabulous, with a good buffet selection plus eggs or pancakes. Both of our rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, and equipped with what we needed. I also appreciated the welcome pack's friendly reminder to be mindful of noise, something I wish more places would include. We'd absolutely stay again.

Room 4 was downstairs, which made hauling our luggage easier. We stayed two nights in the twin room, and both the room and beds were clean and very comfortable. Kathy and John know the area well and offered helpful advice on places to visit, activities, and even the best time to go. Breakfast was a nice start: scrambled eggs or pancakes with fresh fruit, fried eggs on request, plus a sideboard with wrapped croissants, cheese, cold meats, fruit, and cereals. A nice place to stay.

Kathy and John went well beyond what we expected. John drove us into Killarney on the day of the Cycle event so we wouldn't have to look for parking, and when we left a charging cable behind, Kathy happily mailed it to our next stay. They were gracious even with all the trouble we caused. The room was gorgeous, the bathroom excellent, and breakfast had more choices than we could take in. You can see the care and experience in every detail at Larkfield House. Thank you, and congratulations on a superb B & B!

Breakfast was so generous and tasty that we could barely finish it. The rooms feel hotel standard, and John and Kathy are brilliant hosts. A real 5 star gem, we’ll definitely return.
