The staff were welcoming and friendly, and our room was clean and spacious. The location was fantastic, too. We would have liked a chair in the room, even a folding one that could be tucked away. We had a great stay and would come back.

Breakfast came with an Irish option, along with extras like muffins, fruit, yogurt and cereal, plus tea or coffee. They also made the bed and changed our towels every day. The rooms were comfortable, clean and in a great spot, about a five-minute walk from the town centre. I'd stay here again.

The main issue for us was how damp everything stayed. Even 12 hours after a shower, the bathroom seemed wetter than when we started, and our rain jackets, shoes, socks, towels and even toothbrushes wouldn't dry. Since there was no laundry service, we had to spend part of the day finding a clothes dryer and sitting there. The sink plumbing also felt dated, with a choice between cold water and water hot enough to burn. Apart from that, it was a nice place: clean, comfortable and spacious, with free parking, a convenient location and a lovely dining area where breakfast was good.

We waited 30 minutes to check in, the TV didn't work, the bathroom door wouldn't close properly and the toilet roll holder was broken. Payment had to be in cash, and we only got a handwritten paper receipt after asking. Even if everything had worked, the small rooms still wouldn't have felt worth the price. Definitely not worth the money.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable double bed that was lovely to sink into after a long day. The staff were kind and the service was great. Breakfast was included, satisfactory and prepared quickly.
