Frank was the highlight for us. He met us at check-in and check-out, showed us around, shared information and chatted about his time in Ireland. We wished we could have stayed longer to talk with him more. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and an easy-to-use shower. Windway House is clean, cozy and classic, on a cute, quiet street about a 5-7 minute walk from the main part of town. It was nice being close without the noise. We highly recommend staying at Frank’s wonderful place.

We really enjoyed breakfast and getting to visit with Frank. He made us feel like old friends visiting from America, and he’s such a gem, friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the area. He suggested some great places to visit and helped explain the things we saw and had questions about. Windway is very comfortable and just a short walk from City Centre. We stayed in September, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The breakfast was absolutely yummy, and the place felt cozy and comfortable. Frank and his wife made us feel at home. Frank was the best host we had during our whole time in Ireland, and he even helped us plan our trip. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much, Frank!

Having a quiet room within walking distance of the busy part of town suited my 20 year old nephew and me perfectly. It was on a quiet street near the park and nature walks. We could buy groceries or takeout and eat in the dining room, where dishes and silverware were provided. There was also a microwave and a small shared refrigerator in the communal dining room. Cooking was limited to using the microwave, which was fine for us. The host was VERY helpful and accommodating. We’d return in a heartbeat.

The shower pressure was a little weak, but that was a small thing in an otherwise lovely stay. Windway House was cozy and quaint, and the breakfast was especially lovely. Frank is truly a gem. He made us feel so welcome, cared about how our stay was going, and even offered suggestions each day for how to spend our time.
