The gardens around the lake are so lovely they almost make time stand still. Ard na Sidhe has a quiet, old-world feel, with its early 20th century house carefully kept and rooms that each have their own warmth. Open the window in the morning and you get the smell of grass and rain, plus birdsong and mist outside. The people here are kind and attentive without putting on a show. Evenings with tea beside the fireplace and the scent of old wood are a reminder that comfort can be simple. The Wi-Fi may be weak, but the place gives you a different kind of connection. This isn't somewhere to come for noise or a flashy luxury stay. It's for slowing down, being in nature, and finding some peace. Ard na Sidhe feels like a refuge for tired people and dreamers, and a gentle reminder to enjoy life at a slower pace.

We spent time walking the beautiful grounds and relaxing in the cozy living room, both real highlights. The food was amazing, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. From the moment we arrived, the stay felt special. The property is stunning, the rooms are immaculate, and the atmosphere has warmth and luxury without feeling pretentious. Ard na Sidhe Country House Hotel might be my favorite hotel. It's rare to find somewhere both luxurious and so welcoming, and I'd happily stay again and recommend it.

Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were remarkable, and the service was outstanding. The whole staff were attentive and really went above and beyond. We had such a great experience at this beautiful place. I only wish we'd booked another night so we could have spent a full day on site, wandering the lovely gardens and by the lake with no plans.

The dinner was gourmet, and the servers were both professional and personable. The hotel sits beside a lake with extensive, beautiful grounds. The rooms were fine, though old, as you'd expect in a historic building.

A lovely place to stop, breathe, and simply enjoy being there 😀 The hotel is beautiful and romantic, set among the woods near the lake. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the food is more than excellent, made with real care. The team did a great job, with perfect, humorous service.
