The €320 room cost for one night made the reception experience even harder to accept. We stayed at Kinnitty Castle Hotel from Friday the 20th to Saturday the 21st, and were charged €40 for each of our two children, including our 1-year-and-7-month-old, who slept in our bed and needed no extra bed. That came as a frustrating surprise. The receptionist was rude and dismissive, didn't seem willing to listen or help, and didn't calmly explain the policy. She would benefit from guidance or training in communicating politely and professionally with guests. The castle itself is full of character, with a unique atmosphere and plenty of charm. It has a lot of potential, but customer service matters, and this left a bad impression. For that price, I expected a much more professional and respectful response from reception.

We only wished we could have stayed another day. We were a little concerned about how remote it was, but that turned out to be one of its best features. The room was comfortable, and the bath was in better condition and more comfortable than at other places we've stayed in Ireland. Staff were very helpful and shared information about the area. When we come back to Ireland, this will be our main stay. Thank you, Kinnitty castle, staff and boots.

We spent four nights at the hotel for a friend's 50th birthday, and the castle looked like a Christmas card, set in beautiful countryside just a few weeks before Xmas. We had a big event there, and everyone on staff was friendly and professional. Connor, the master of ceremonies, and Tom, the night porter, really made our stay. The Dungeon bar downstairs had a great atmosphere and a fine range of food. The place is stunning. I'd recommend Kinnity to anyone wanting a big party venue with a difference. Well done to everyone at the castle, you're all ACE!

The staff are what really make Kinnitty Castle. At a 50th birthday there, Connor the GM was fantastic and so accommodating, and James the Chef sent out next level food. Everyone else, from reception to the waiters and waitresses, was kind and professional. The castle itself is spectacular, and I was absolutely blown away. I'm looking forward to visiting again. Thank you, Kinnitty Castle!

The porridge at breakfast won me over, and I loved having so many places to walk around the grounds. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. The place is gorgeous, and arriving feels like stepping back in time. I really didn't want to leave. I'll definitely come back to Kinnitty on my next trip to Ireland.
