Trident Hotel

The staff are what really give the Trident its warm, family feel. They're welcoming and make the stay feel special. My favourite part was breakfast, the best I've had at any hotel in Ireland. Hot dishes are cooked to order, and the brown bread is a must-try. The bar is cosy and the food is excellent too. Rooms have been refurbished in recent years and are finished to a high standard. The bathrooms are impressive, with power showers that leave you feeling refreshed. A five-star experience, highly recommend the Trident.

The lovely staff and service were hard to fault, and we had a nice stay. The issues wouldn't put me off booking again. The robes in our room were the nicest I've ever had in a hotel 👌🏻 We were in room 318. The bed was awful, two singles pushed together, and one mattress badly needs replacing. The lumps left me bruised. The bathroom felt poorly designed, in my opinion. Its shower was wheelchair accessible, which made it awkward to stand and shower if you didn't need that setup. The gym and pool are at another hotel a five-minute walk away, and the lads working there were very friendly and accommodating.

A nice enough hotel, though it felt more like Miami Beach than Ireland. The staff were kind, breakfast was good, and from what we saw, most guests were Americans. The shower pressure was excellent and the tub was a nice touch. We paid extra for a bay view room, but construction equipment and a parking lot sat in front of the bay view. Nothing special, but okay.

Nice, spacious, clean rooms with a great harbour view, plus a big bathroom and plenty of breakfast choices. Staff were friendly, and there are various rooms for relaxing as well as a pub attached to the hotel. Adam at reception was especially helpful and made our stay. Town is a 5-10 minute walk, and there's a coffee shop two minutes from the hotel.
