Jackie cooked us a delicious breakfast in the cozy dining room. The house itself is beautiful, surrounded by lovely scenery, and handy for local pubs and places to visit. She's an excellent cook.

The views from the room and all around the property were spectacular. Our room was huge, with a lovely view from the window, and the owners were amazing. We had great breakfasts too. It was our favorite place during our 14 days in Ireland. Staying outside the busy town centers was relaxing, and town was only a short drive away. Highly recommend 🍀

The setting was pleasant, but Rossmore felt tired and worn out. Our room's wood floor squeaked badly and badly needed refinishing. The low ceiling angles around the house meant you could hit your head just standing above the toilet. The toilet seat shifted and slid sideways every time we used it. Coffee from the morning before was still in our room at 4 in the afternoon, and we had to ask for fresh coffee. Of the eight places we stayed in Ireland, this was at the bottom of our list. Despite the pleasant photos, the house sits just above a highway.

We found Rossmore Manor a relaxing high point of our trip and wished we could have stayed longer. My wife and I spent 15 days driving around the whole island and staying at B&Bs, and this was our favorite. It's rural, perched on a hill with a magnificent view of the water. The rooms are roomy and nice, with large windows, and the host is gracious and makes an excellent breakfast. The breakfast room feels homey, and the breakfast is grand. Bella, the friendly cat, came to visit us now and then and made it feel even more like home. If we return someday, we'll plan to spend a week here.

We felt comfortable right away at Rossmore Manor, almost like family. The room was amazing and clean, and breakfast was perfect. Jackie greeted us with a happy, lovely smile and was gracious and accommodating. When there wasn't a taxi available for the time we wanted to go into town, Geoff drove us and suggested a place to eat. We stayed May 9, 2022, and I only wish we'd booked a few more days.
