Atlantic Hotel

The rooms were cosy, but there’s no soundproofing and it took a while for the hot water to arrive. Breakfast was really poor and hardly edible. The reception staff seemed overworked, tired and grumpy, and nobody answered the phone.

Right in the middle of the little town, so it was easy to walk everywhere. The included breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Ireland. The rooms were spotless, with stylish but cosy décor, and the service was welcoming and friendly from the start. Such a cute boutique hotel, with a lovely mix of comfort and charm. We’d happily recommend it.

We used the restaurant twice, for lunch and breakfast, and both meals were very good. The room was extremely clean, and the staff paid close attention to what we needed. It’s a lovely little hotel across from the ocean and beach, with parking at the back that made getting in easy. I’d absolutely stay here again when I’m in this part of Ireland.

The room was basic, with a view of the street, and the TV was too small and too far away. There’s free parking at the back, though spaces are limited and tight. The staff were great, and the hotel has a restaurant and pub as well as a breakfast restaurant, which is included. It’s a classic old-style European hotel right in the centre of the small town, with a large beach nearby that’s good for surfing. I stayed here to visit the Cliffs of Moher and also went to Bunratty castle & Folk Park.
