Pearse Road Guest House

We didn’t feel welcome at all. The staff were unfriendly from the start, and it spoiled our stay. The website and Google Maps description said “kitchen facilities available,” so when we were given a room across from the kitchen, with its doors wide open, we understood that we could use it. The host scolded me and said the kitchen wasn’t for guests, and that the description only meant we could make coffee and tea. That made no sense to me. I apologized, and I’d been friendly throughout the stay, but that wasn’t returned. This was hard to write because I really dislike leaving reviews like this, but our trip to Letterkenny was spoiled. I’d hate for someone else to be misled about the facilities.

I slept soundly during my one night here. It’s spotlessly clean, very good value and conveniently located for town. Five stars from me.

A lovely place right in the centre of letterkenny, with most of what the town has to offer within walking distance. Great facilities and a wonderful host.

The Pearse Guest House is in an excellent location, and the staff were so friendly. I stayed Saturday night, and the room was bright and very spacious. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it.
