The food and cocktails were good value, especially with the discount they offered when I stayed. You could get €5 off the restaurant and bar if you skipped room attendance for two nights, or €10 for three nights. The rooms were very nice, with Nespresso machines, and the furnishings were nice too. Breakfast was excellent, so the offers that include it are worth considering. The hotel is well located, about equally close to everything, and has a cosy feel.

A big thank you to Erin at the front office, who went above and beyond to help with my sister’s birthday. The thoughtful touches she arranged made it feel really special. We also ate at Vincenzo’s restaurant, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming even though it was very busy. The meal was fantastic. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and the location was perfect for getting around. Reduced-rate parking at Harvey’s Quay was convenient. We didn’t have breakfast, but everything else exceeded our expectations. We loved our stay and would happily return. Highly recommend.

The location was great, check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed the stay apart from the neighbours. A group around us kept moving in and out of each other’s rooms, with doors banging through most of the night. It was really disturbing.

We’ve already booked again for 2026 after staying here for a pre-Christmas shopping weekend with my sisters for the second year running. It’s excellent value, with great service from all the staff, a lovely atmosphere, and a perfect location. They even took a lovely photo and printed it for us. I’d highly recommend it.

We love staying at The George when we get the chance, and had a lovely Sunday night there. The receptionist was welcoming and got us checked in quickly, and the bar staff were pleasant too. This time we were on the sixth floor, and the windows really need replacing. We could hear everything from the street during the night and early morning. That hadn’t happened on our previous stays, so it was very disappointing.
