I’ve stayed here several times and have always had a pleasant visit. The hotel is clean and crisp, and the staff are consistently friendly and polite. The rooms are spacious and have everything you’d expect. It’s especially well located in the warmer months, right by the Shannon. There’s seating directly over the river, which is a lovely spot.

We had a room on the 9th floor with a great view, and the beds were wonderfully soft and comfortable. Everything looked spotless as soon as we came through the door, and the hotel is lovely and well located. Check-in was smooth, thanks to the super friendly reception staff. Breakfast was great too, and the team there were helpful and welcoming. My partner and I were incredibly satisfied with our stay in the Clayton and have nothing bad to say.

Maggie and her team were so friendly and helpful that they made our recent Clayton Hotel stay in Limerick memorable. William and the restaurant staff were fun and helpful too, and made our dinner booking enjoyable as well as delicious. The hotel itself was perfect from start to finish. We’ll definitely stay again, and thanks for a great trip.

The evening meal was the one disappointment. It was very expensive for such tiny portions. I ordered grilled sea bass and got a child sized serving, which was poor value. Apart from that, we had a very pleasant stay in a modern, clean hotel with all the amenities we needed. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

We were a family group of 6 adults and 4 children, staying one night on January 2nd in 3 family rooms. The location was great, the rooms were superb, and breakfast covered everything we needed. The bar was inviting for a drink, and the stay was very positive overall. The pool temperature on both the 2nd January and 3rd January was the only negative. Having a pool was one of the reasons we booked, but some of our group didn’t use it because it was cold.
