Antoinette went out of her way to help us. My wife and I weren’t sure how to find one of her family’s homes near Longford, so she asked us to follow her in her car and personally led us there. That kind of hospitality is something you find in Ireland! The house is an elegant, restored country style home, set back from the road behind two sets of gates, yet only a five minute walk to Longford town. Our room and bathroom were large, with grand windows and all the amenities. Antoinette set the breakfast table with fine china and silver service, and was a perfect hostess. Pat and George

We’ll cherish our visit to St Albans. The dining was superb, and the interiors have a classic design with old world elegance. Its location near Longford town gives you both tranquillity and seclusion, while staying within a short distance of town.

The bedroom was magnificent and spacious, with a lovely walk in wardrobe, twin sink and modern shower. The country house is gorgeous, beautifully decorated, warm and inviting. It’s very central, and the welcome was lovely. Don’t go near a hotel!
