We stayed the night before our flight from Dublin Airport, about 20 minutes away. Lucan is a lovely town, and we could walk to a pub and a petrol station to fill the rental car. Paying at check-in was different from other B&Bs, but it made it easy to leave quickly for the airport. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. There was also a lovely sitting room and garden with a pond and waterfall. Breakfast was great, with cereal, yogurt, juice and a full Irish breakfast.

Astrid is a terrific, genuine hostess, and the homemade Irish breakfast served every morning is delicious. The rooms are beautiful too. The bus stop is just around the corner, with a pub up the street and a grocery store over the hill. If you’re visiting Dublin, this is the place to stay. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The rooms were spotless, with modern en-suites, and the staff were very friendly. Carmen cooks your Irish Fry breakfast to order, and it’s delicious. Wonderful location. I’d definitely stay again when I’m in the Dublin area.

We were so lucky this place was included in our package deal. The room was quaint and super comfortable, and it’s easy to relax here. Wayne and Astrid Scott are wonderful hosts. The walk around town is lovely, and you don’t need a rental car, buses can take you to and from Dublin or the airport. Trust me, it’s a great place to stay.

The hosts are welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. Lucan is a lovely village to explore, and Dublin city centre isn’t that far away. A great place to stay, would highly recommend.
