The location was the main reason I chose this place, along with the many good reviews online, and I wasn't disappointed. I stayed in May 2025. The interior suits the lovely name, and the view was just as shown. Eric and Dympna were very nice hosts. My family room was spacious, with a double bed and two singles, an ensuite bathroom, and nice toiletries. It was spotlessly clean and had an amazing view. Each morning Eric served a lovely full Irish breakfast with a smile and a chat. The beach was about a minute away on foot. The little fishing village, with two gastro pubs and a chipper, was roughly two minutes away. A real gem, and I'll definitely be back. One possible improvement would be an option to have the room serviced. Alternatively, guests could be given a sweeping brush and cleaning products in the breakfast area, plus somewhere to put rubbish that builds up during a stay.

The view from the lounge is hard to beat, and the location is ideal, just steps from the beach. There's plenty of on-street parking by the front door, and the village has two good bars and restaurants. Eric was attentive and an excellent host. My single room was quiet, warm, and spacious, with plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. Breakfast was excellent too. I had a great weekend at Seashells and wouldn't hesitate to return.

We booked a sea-view room for me and my wife, and the views were amazing. The room was very clean, and the next morning we had a lovely full breakfast with a great view from the table. We got a warm, friendly welcome when we arrived and throughout the stay. I'll definitely book again.

Eric was kind and gracious, even offering pancakes when my daughter was "over" eating eggs. The room's view was unbeatable, and we had a lovely couple of days at this little B+B. We took a day trip to Waterford, then visited Hook lighthouse on our way to Dublin the next day. I'd highly recommend it!

We made this trip seven years ago, and Dympna and Erik are still the best hosts. The place is cozy and warm, with great views. Breakfast was amazing, the beds soft, and the showers lovely. Can't wait to come back. Thanks, lads.
