The gardens, rooms, and breakfast were all beautiful, and the setting by Newport River is stunning. I woke up to that view each morning. John and Erica made us feel so welcome, and it was reassuring that the children could sleep in the room next door with both doors open, knowing they were close by. It would work really well for families. We'll DEFINITELY be back. If you're after a five star bed and breakfast, definitely go here.

Erica was a brilliant host, and we ate amazingly well. The place was comfortable and clean, and the grounds are beautiful, with views of the bridge from the river. One of our favorite stays in Ireland. I'd come back here every time I'm visiting Newport or Westport.

We loved our room at the Riverside House, especially the window over the garden and river. It was lovely to sit there with a book or just relax. Erica is warm and welcoming, and her breakfasts are really tasty. Coffee pods, my favourite Pukka teas, books, and card games for rainy days gave the B&B a comfortable, home like feel.

Erica was fabulous and made an amazing breakfast. I stayed in "The Stables" and was completely happy with everything. It's a stunning property with beautiful rooms, and I'll most certainly be back on future gallivants in Mayo.

Erica was helpful with suggestions for food, drinks, bike hire, and places to visit. The Western Greenway is right there, and since Newport is small, she seems to know everyone. Riverside House sits in a lovely natural spot by the river. It was comfortable and had several guests, yet still felt private. Breakfast was delicious. Would love to go back.
