Holiday Inn Dublin Airport

The breakfast had lots of hot and cold choices, and the staff were friendly and easy to find whenever we needed something. We stayed one night before flying and left the car at the hotel, using the shuttle both to and from the airport. It ran every half hour, including when we returned a week later. Check-in was quick and welcoming. Our accessible room was spacious, with a full-size bath and a great shower. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable. I usually find hotel pillows disappointing, but these were lovely. I can't say enough about the hotel or its staff.

The airport transfer took under 10 minutes each way and ran on schedule when we used it in the evening and early morning. I can't say how it works during busier times, but the location was really convenient. After spending most of the month travelling around Ireland and staying in older hotels, this new building felt like a breath of fresh air. The staff in the lobby were pleasant and helpful. There was a roomy lounge with plenty of places to sit, whether you wanted to relax or get some work done, and a bar across from it. We had dinner in the restaurant, where the burgers were high quality and the service was great. Our room was nicely decorated, with space to work or unwind, a comfortable bed, a large TV, and a good shower and bathroom. It had what we needed for a decent sleep before an early flight. I'd happily stay again when I need an airport hotel.

There's a shuttle to and from the airport every 30 minutes, starting at 4:00. The staff were kind, and my room was spacious, clean, and had a kettle, hair dryer, and TV. The bed was very comfortable. I didn't try the restaurant, though the bar had a nice range of draught beers and other drinks. In normal traffic, the drive to the airport takes about 10 minutes.

We had to leave at 5 AM, before breakfast started, so the hotel packed breakfast for us. The customer service was excellent. The room felt modern and had plenty of charging outlets, including USB ports. The water pressure and temperature were good, and the bed and blanket were comfortable. There's a Starbucks inside as well as a bar. Shane, the bus driver, was one of the nicest people I've met. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back in Dublin.
