The room was plain and basic, with no real view. We stayed one night in May 2025, and the noise from the bar downstairs made it an uncomfortable visit. A sports game was on, with constant cheering and shouting coming straight up to our room, and cigarette smoke from below drifted in too. Breakfast began too late for us, so we had to find somewhere else to eat in the morning. At checkout, we were told to leave through the back alley, which was a poor final impression. It didn’t feel comfortable or convenient, even for a short stay.

The atmosphere was good and the service is always good. I had a lovely Saturday evening, and the barman was great, even showing me the bottle of Merlot my glass came from. It was superb. My seafood linguine was tasty too, but it had chorizo in it. Seafood linguine shouldn’t have meat in it. If I’d been vegetarian, I would have had to send it back, so I’d like the chef to know.

We had dinner at the restaurant and all enjoyed our meals. The tea setup also came with a few cookies. We stayed one night while traveling from Cork to Dublin to pick people up at the airport for a tour. The rooms and linens were clean, though small. There wasn’t much storage, and no desk or chair to sit at. Good for a short stay.

The staff were great. We got there before check-in, and they kept our bags while we went exploring. Best pint of the trip, too. I can’t say enough good things.

My friend left her AirPods here, and Jeremy confirmed by email that they’d been found and would be returned. When I went to collect them, the pair I was given was old, very well used, and not hers. The AirPods showed up at the hotel and at a residence, which suggested that someone had taken them home and brought them back. They still show at the hotel to this day. After we explained that the pair was wrong and hers still appeared at that location, Jeremy stopped replying to us.
