Room 1 Camp Street B&B

Des made me feel very welcome for my one-night stay. The room was great, though, as Des said, it’s still a work in progress. It’s a lovely village with very friendly people, and the location is especially handy if you have kids staying at Ros Muc Gaeltacht, about 30 minutes away. Annmarie Dempsey

We were in the area for a wedding and found the host very welcoming. He pointed out places we might visit if we had time. There’s also a neat Cafe and Bar attached, run by the host, which was a nice spot for a drink and a bite at the end of the day. When we couldn’t find a taxi back to our car at the wedding venue, he came up with a few possible solutions, so we didn’t feel stranded. Highly recommend for a few days or up to a week out west of Galway.

The studio was lovely, with a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy, warm bedroom. The host was friendly and helpful, and the electric blanket was a big bonus.

The rooms were clean, cozy, and well laid out, with en-suite bathrooms and a shared kitchen. There’s a private entry hall for the rooms, so you can come and go whenever you like. Plenty of parking too, and Dessie was a great host. I’ll stay again.
