We’ve stayed at Avondale House twice now, and I’d definitely recommend it. Carmel is a lovely, friendly host who makes a real effort to make everyone feel welcome.

The breakfast was better than at a five-star hotel. Just ask for what you want and you'll get it. The room was bright and very clean, with everything needed, from hot drinks and bottled mineral water to Sky TV. Great prices and pleasant service too. One of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed in, highly recommended.

Carmel took such good care of us during our summer stay and made sure we had what we needed. When the weather got really hot, she brought us bottles of ice-cold water, which we were very grateful for. Breakfast was great every morning. Thanks again for a lovely stay, we’ll definitely be back.

We’ve stayed at Avondale B+B many times and hope to return soon. This time we spent seven nights there: the room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony, and breakfast was great. A lovely room and a great host.
