Breakfast was easily the best in the area: generous portions, freshly cooked, and served with a smile. The staff are genuinely welcoming and attentive, and the rooms are spotless with beds that make for a great night's sleep. The Coachmans Inn Hotel also has a convenient, easy-to-reach location for business or leisure. I've stayed at several Roscommon hotels, including Abbey Hotel and Gleeson's Townhouse, and Coachmans Inn is the best of them for comfort, value, food, and service. Abbey feels dated and overpriced to me, while Gleeson's is decent but much like what's already available. If you're staying in Roscommon, I'd book Coachmans Inn.

Ben, thanks for giving this Yank such a great time. I watched a pool league match, had a smoke in the courtyard, and sang karaoke with a big group celebrating Kelly's 18th birthday. It was the most fun I've had at any pub in Ireland. See you Stateside.

The room was spotless, really comfortable, and great value. Ben at the front desk was the best part of the stay, an absolute gent who couldn't do enough for us. We'll definitely be back.

When serving stops at half 12 on a Friday night, it makes you wonder if tourism in the west is dead. Maybe staying open late and having trad music would help bring tourists in. Or does that not suit your propaganda?

Everything was fabulous, from the very nice man who greeted us through to breakfast and all the little things in between. We stayed Friday 24th October and couldn't fault the place. We'll definitely be back.
