Eldons Hotel & Restaurant

We stayed in Roundstone, where O’Dowds cafe and Coffee Cottage are handy local spots, and Shamrock bar across the street was busy with locals and live music. Our room at Eldon's was spotless and comfortable, with good beds, plenty of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and a decent stash of coffee and coffee biscuits. The breakfast had lots of options and high-quality ingredients, and the service was great. They even made sure I had vegan food, which I really appreciated. Everyone in our group was happy with the stay. The friendly, helpful staff gave us good tips for places to visit and eat, and the family-run feel came through in the service. Thanks to the whole team, especially Jemma, for making it such an enjoyable visit.

We came away feeling relaxed and recharged, and I’d be happy to make Eldon’s our usual place when we visit Roundstone. My husband chose it for my birthday weekend, and Jemma helped him surprise me with champagne and chocolates in the room. I loved that our room opened straight onto the garden. Breakfast and coffee were just right, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

Roundstone is a sweet little village, with plenty to explore and restaurants just a short drive away. My husband and I spent a few nights at Eldon’s BnB for our honeymoon, and it was such a peaceful place to stay. Jemma and Joe were wonderful hosts and made sure we were comfortable. We can’t wait to return.

We found the price very good for what we got, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. The owners were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious and finished to a high standard, with a lovely en suite, good bedding, and everything clean and comfortable.
