Mary was a wonderful host and shared lots of information about places to visit around the area. We were close to town and to Sligo’s lovely beaches for swimming, water sports, and golf. The rate is for the room only, but there are plenty of nearby breakfast places. We had an excellent stay in Ballincar and will definitely come back when we visit Sligo.
The location was perfect for getting to both the city and the ocean. The owner was wonderful and very kind, and we had delicious breakfasts. Our room was clean, with fresh towels every day. We’ll definitely be back.
We stayed for one night in July 2022 and paid 90 euros. She told us breakfast wasn’t provided, even though the place is supposed to be a B&B. The shared areas didn’t look like the photos on her website, and it seemed the breakfast room was no longer being used. Very odd.
We got a lovely Irish welcome, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was generous, with lots of options. We’re looking forward to coming back. Kay and Mick, Cavan
