Coomassigview Bed and Breakfast

I was hiking the Kerry Way, and this place was right on the trail with only a short walk into town. Maureen is a great host and clearly knows what hikers need. She had newspaper ready to help dry our boots, plus a washing line for other clothes. The rooms were extremely comfortable and breakfast was great. She also offered to book somewhere in town or arrange transport at short notice for the next morning. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Coomassig View B & B is right on The Kerry Way and only a quick walk from town. The home is a real gem, and my cosy room and very comfortable bed were just what I needed to rest after a long day hiking. I stayed one night while walking 'The Kerry Way', and would recommend booking here if you’re in Sneem or nearby.

Maureen is such a cheerful, welcoming host that you feel at home straight away. We loved our stay. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including two chairs, coffee and tea, cold water, tourist information, and maps. Breakfast was delicious, too. It’s a great stop on the Kerry Way, with the things walkers need on hand or available by arrangement. The trail is right beside the B&B, and there’s a nice pub or restaurant in the village, about a ten-minute walk away. Maureen booked a table for us when we arrived because she thought Sneem might be busy on Sunday evening. We also loved the Irish blessing!

The bed was wonderful, and I slept so well. Maureen gave us the best service, even offering to transfer our luggage to the next hiking stop, helping with my sunburn, and finding us a dinner reservation. The breakfast was perfect. Best B&B ever, thanks a million!
