The room and breakfast were fine, and we were treated like family. I read the negative reviews and don't understand them. It's a small family place, not the Hilton. The hostess even offered to book the Aran Island ferry and gave us a lift on her way into town. 10 stars.

The rooms are quite dated, and our mattress was very soft. There was also a strong smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was okay, with a cooked option, and the price was good for the area. The owner was pleasant, let us change the booking easily, and checked us in early.

We found it very easy to get to, even coming from far away, and it's close to Connemara airport. Geraldine, the owner, was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the Irish breakfast. Great stay, highly recommend.

Spiddal village is under 2km away, with a decent choice of shops, restaurants and pubs. The place is well situated for staying somewhere rural while still being within reach of Galway City and Rossaveel. Geraldine welcomed us and showed us to a clean, tidy room. I could choose the breakfast time, and it was delicious and nicely presented. I'd recommend it and will definitely come back.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, with great tips on places to visit and things to see. Rooms were really clean and comfortable, and breakfast was second to none. A brilliant B&B all round. I'd recommend it a hundred times to anyone visiting Galway and Connemara, and I'll definitely return.
