Jimmy, thanks for a lovely stay. The cottage was clean and had a few essentials already bought in, so there was no need to worry about whether shops were open. It had everything we needed and possibly the best beds around. I'll book it first for my next trip.

The weather wasn't great, so the electric fire in the living room was very welcome, and we got cosy watching Netflix. Jimmy and Bridget were welcoming and helpful with ideas for things to do, and their visitors' map and guide came in handy. We had a fabulous week in August in a cosy cottage right in town, close to shops, restaurants and pubs. There was a nice welcome pack with bread, milk and plenty of tea and coffee, plus fresh, clean towels, which we hadn't expected in self catering. The cottage had everything we could need, including an iron, ironing board, hairdryer and a fully equipped kitchen. It's near the airport and makes it easy to drive in every direction for sightseeing around Mayo, with Westport, achil, killala and Downpatrick head not far away. Thanks, Jimmy and Bridget. Highly recommend for a trip to county Mayo.
