The rooms were warm and cosy, and the house is only about a 10-minute walk from town. We had one double room and one single room for three nights. It’s a lovely place in a great spot, and Tony was a perfect host. We’d happily stay again.

Tony made me and my big dog feel very welcome while I was in the area for a nearby event. His local tips were spot on, and I really appreciated how warm and helpful he was. This will be the first place I think of next time I’m heading this way. Thanks!

The beds are clean, roomy and comfortable. Tony’s always friendly and upbeat, and he knows the whole history of the area and county.

We had a horrible experience. The owner accepted our booking more than two months ahead, then texted the day before our arrival to say the rooms weren’t available anymore. That was it. I only found out because I messaged to ask what time we should arrive, so it could have been even worse.
