Ach na Sheen Guest House

We stayed for two nights last month, and from the start my partner and I felt at home. Sylvia was such a warm host. Our room and bathroom were spotless, and each morning there was a full Irish breakfast as well as continental options. We’re very grateful for the stay and would happily recommend the guest house.

We were sorry when it was time to head home after our 10 days here. Sylvia made us feel so welcome and was helpful in all sorts of ways, from lending us maps and sharing advice to letting us use the laundry facilities and giving us ice for our cooler. We also loved chatting with her. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the hospitality went well beyond what we expected. We had a glorious stay, and there aren't enough stars for this place.

We left with a lovely goodbye and a wave, already looking forward to coming back. Sylvia welcomed us with coffee and cakes, then gave us useful suggestions for places to eat and drink and made sure we all got in at the end of the night. The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh fruit, homemade scones, croissants, cereals, and a delicious cooked option. This is the best B&B we've stayed in.

Ach na Sheen felt caring and welcoming in a way I rarely find, even after staying in everything from hostels to fancy hotels around the world. It almost felt like being looked after by a mum. The room was nice and breakfast was excellent. I can really recommend it! 😀❤️✨
