Glenfort House

We used Glenfort House B&B as a base for day trips to the Dingle Peninsula, The Ring of Kerry and Killarney National Park. It’s a 15-minute walk into Tralee city center, with a fine pub just down the street. Our five-day stay was lovely: the hosts were welcoming and attentive, and the house was peaceful, clean and very comfortable. It’s on a quiet cul-de-sac with parking, and breakfast was a lovely Irish one. We’d be glad to return the next time we cross the ocean to Ireland’s beautiful Wild Atlantic Way.

A hearty breakfast and a great welcome. The B&B is clean and modern, set somewhere quiet but still within walking distance of the city centre. It’s easy to get to from Listowel and makes a perfect starting point for walking to Killorglin. I’ll be back.

My kids had been looking forward to our Tralee stay and were so disappointed when the owner contacted me to cancel the unit I’d booked through Trivago, because a party was coming for two days. The owner couldn’t cancel it directly and asked me to contact Expedia to do it myself. This is the first bad review I’ve ever left, but my family is really dejected by the whole thing. The owner couldn’t manage his bookings.

The breakfast had a scrumptious variety, and the lovely welcoming couple made us feel at home. A beautiful, comfortable and clean B/B. I’d highly recommend it. 💜 💜
