We all came away saying this was the best hotel we’d stayed in for ages. The rooms were comfortable and well cared for, the location was perfect, and the food was exceptional. There really wasn’t anything we could fault. I was there with friends for three nights over the February midterm. What made the biggest difference was how welcoming everyone was. Manager Ivan and the whole team were friendly, professional, and genuinely kind, not just one or two people. That consistent warmth made our stay special, and it’s why we’d come back. Everyone involved should be proud.

After a beach trip with our dog, Alfie’s in The Ashe Hotel was just right for lunch. The relaxed atmosphere and outstanding service made us feel welcome, and the manager on duty and staff were friendly and attentive. Tutter is a large dog, and it can be hard to find places that welcome dogs that size. The team went out of their way to make us comfortable, which made the visit extra special. We can’t wait to return, highly recommend! 🐾 ✨

Tara made our family brunch a lovely one. I ordered three things that weren’t standard menu items, and she handled each thoughtfully, with care and follow-up. That’s the sort of service that keeps you coming back. I’m looking forward to doing brunch there again soon.

The personal touches around the hotel stood out, from the welcome on the website to the greeting that came with my room. The room itself was unbelievable, and getting onto the internet was easy, which I often find difficult in hotels. After my journey, a lovely young man made me feel so welcome and immediately lifted my mood. I’d had a bad experience with a taxi driver who initially wouldn’t take me because the hotel wasn’t far enough from the train station. I had a lovely meal, and the person at reception, I’m sure her name was Mave, was so pleasant and generous with her time. Sorry if I’ve got the name wrong. Even the night porter was lovely. The owners should be proud of the personal feel of the place. It felt like a home from home, and I’d thoroughly recommend it. I can’t wait to return with my husband and enjoy it again.

The staff were all super helpful and friendly, and the bar food was very good. The full Irish breakfast was good too. I’ve just returned from a stay at the Ashe hotel, which is in a great location and has really nice bedrooms with a very comfortable bed. I’ll definitely stay again, and recommend it.
