Breakfast was great, and they stayed up so we could check in late. The park down the road is within walking distance. No complaints, though the stairs could be a bit of a challenge with a large suitcase, so pack light.

I called to ask about availability and got a very rude response. The woman answered with “hello,” then said she wasn’t taking one-night bookings. I told her friends had booked the same night for one night, and she replied, “I’m not taking any more of them bookings,” before hanging up. Extremely unprofessional.

I was so disappointed and wouldn’t stay again. We had cereal, but it wasn’t fresh, and our view was of a dog kennel, which wasn’t nice. The room had no fresh towels on arrival, and when I went down for toilet roll, I was asked “what” four times before being given half a roll. We’d said yes when asked if we wanted someone to wake us if we weren’t down for breakfast, but no one knocked. The power also went out for about 15 minutes, something I’ve never seen happen at a B&B. Check-in is only at 5 and checkout is at 11, which I think is wrong; usually checkout is at noon. I just wouldn’t stay again.

A lovely B&B, with a warm welcome from the owner and staff. Breakfast was very nice, the WiFi was good, and it’s close to the beach and amusements. I had no complaints and will definitely go back.

I’ve stayed in lots of places in Tramore over many years and have never been treated like that on a booking call. I rang today, and before I’d even said the date I wanted, the person on the other end answered me in an unpleasant way and said no. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I wouldn’t try to book again.
