We booked at the last minute, just before the place closed for a short break so the hosts could get some well-deserved time off. The location was perfect, the stay was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. We walked from Klondyke House and had a delicious dinner down the road at Smuggler’s. I’d happily stay here again.

The sea view from the clean rooms was beautiful, the location was good, and breakfast was delicious. Try the fruit pancakes, they made a nice change from the usually meat-heavy Irish breakfast. The hostess kept her distance, so the welcome felt cooler than at the other B&Bs we’d stayed in. We were asked to pay in cash, but that had been made clear when we booked, so that seemed fair.

The breakfast was great and the rooms were nice. The welcome and help weren’t on the same level as at the two B&Bs we’d stayed in before. This was also the only place that asked us to pay the full amount in advance, before we arrived in Ireland.

The owner left us a note asking about our breakfast preferences since we’d be arriving late, a thoughtful touch. The rooms had beautiful views, comfortable beds, and were exceptionally clean, and parking was easy. Breakfast was amazing, service was great, and it felt safe and good value for the price. It’s perfectly placed about halfway along the Ring of Kerry drive, with gorgeous beach views and an inland lake within walking distance.
