Breakfast felt like a four course meal, and the rooms were always clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The Mariner Hotel in Westport is centrally located, with parking across the road for just €2 for 24hrs. I couldn't recommend it more.

The rooms were fresh, clean, and very quiet, and breakfast was tasty. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. I would have loved a bath, though the showers are top class, and a mini fridge would make the room even better. The price was very reasonable too. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We paid €190 a night, and after a terrible first night I told the manager we couldn't stay for a repeat. He wouldn't give a full refund for the second night, only offering €45 back. That felt awful after what we'd experienced, and the manager needs more training in handling situations like this. The noise was awful. There were loud bangs from other room doors and guests having late night parties after returning from a night out. I called reception to complain, but was told they couldn't do anything. I wish someone had warned us. Definitely the worst hotel experience I've had, and I won't stay again or recommend it.

Room 104 cost €209.00 and had no minibar. The bathroom had no window, and the mattress was very old, uncomfortable, and full of holes. Breakfast was mediocre. I don't recommend it.
