There were nine of us celebrating a family milestone birthday, and the whole team looked after us so well. They even made a special birthday pudding plate for my cousin. Shane, Vinny, Jessie, and everyone else helped make the occasion happy and memorable. The food was excellent, and the service was just as good. Even the fussy eater in our group praised it as the best meal she'd had out in years. Highly recommend it as one of the best places to eat and drink in Westport.

Breakfast was a great cooked Irish meal, with cereals, yoghurts, fruit, toast, and juice available too. The apartment was warm and had everything we needed, including a washing machine and dryer. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were modern and nicely done. Vini and the team were helpful from the moment we arrived. A staff member showed us to the self-contained apartment above the bar, gave us a quick welcome, and explained the amenities. Staff were lovely at check-in, during an evening drink at the bar, and at breakfast. You can tell the place is cared for by how enthusiastic and conscientious everyone is. With a location like that, we're already looking forward to spending more time there.

The monkfish and black sole were super fresh and cooked just right. We had a lovely meal at The Helm Restaurant, with friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. A great place for an easy, enjoyable dinner.
