The pool was a highlight on Sunday morning. It was warm enough to get in without grimacing, and had a waterfall and a mini hot tub. By the pool there was also a cold bath hot tub, sauna and steam room. Swim hats and towels were available at the health club reception, and the changing rooms were clean and well stocked. Breakfast came with our rate and was much better than I expected from a hotel. We both had the fruit and yogurt pancakes and loved them. The juices tasted fresh, not watery, and the baked goods seemed homemade. We loved the warm croissants and fresh soda bread. There was also a buffet with fruit, cheese, meats, cereals, granola, white and brown sliced pans for toasting, and more. Something for everyone. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the bathroom spotless and the shower lovely. There are no fridges in the rooms, which didn’t bother me, but some people may need one for medication. I’m sure staff could store it in the kitchen or bar fridge. We were there for my sister’s birthday last weekend, and she was very happy, which mattered most. We’d both love to come back after our perfect weekend in Wexford. I emailed to ask whether they’d found her keychain, dropped at breakfast, and got a call within minutes to say they had it. Julius from the front office was so kind about posting it back, and didn’t even charge for postage. Thank you, Julius!

Dinner and breakfast were the best parts of the hotel, both very good. Dinner service was okay, though it was busy and the staff did their best to get around to everyone. The pool and spa were good, not too crowded, and all the facilities worked. The rooms were okay too, with comfortable beds, though the furniture was a bit dated. I booked because Booking.com rated it among Ireland’s best four-star hotels. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t awesome either. I’d probably try another four-star hotel in Ireland next time.

We had dinner with the family and in-laws, seven kids and six adults, and it was easily the best dining experience we’ve ever had. Everything was 100%, from the staff and food to the premises. Our server remembered every child’s name after taking the order and was outstanding throughout the visit. The menu was extensive, the food top class and the service outstanding.

We had a family get-together dinner here and the food was great. Everything was well cooked and came out quickly, with great service from our waitress. There was a good choice of burgers, steak and chicken, plus nicely presented desserts. Prices were reasonable and the setting comfortable, with lovely Christmas 2025 decorations.

The food is fabulous, and the staff are friendly with excellent service. It’s an adorable hotel, and the only things I’d suggest are dressing gowns and feather and duck-down pillows. I don’t want to complain, though. This is the only hotel I’d stay at in Wexford, and I’ll definitely be back when I’m there.
