The town centre is only a few minutes away on foot, and the room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was at the pub downstairs, which worked fine, and there was free parking on site. I had a lovely two-night stay last week. It isn't the Ritz, but I'd happily stay here again.

The room was clean and the location was good, but the central heating never came on. Staff said they would switch it to booster mode and it should start after a short while. An hour later it still wasn't working, and nobody answered when we called again. In the middle of winter there wasn't even a portable heater or another solution offered.

Back soon, I hope. The rooms were lovely, modern and tidy, and the value for money was exceptional. I'd highly recommend staying here. (keith&Sonia) .

The man who checked me in was really kind. On our last night the water stopped, and the person I reached by phone said there was nobody available to fix it and hoped it would come back on. I ended up using water from my buddy’s room to fill my trashcans so I could flush, lol.

The en-suite rooms are set out back and are very well appointed. Inside, the pub has loads of character, with locals around and that old-fashioned warmth and hospitality. I'd definitely stay again.
