My mom and I have both been sick since staying in that room, and we deeply regret the experience. I had bug bites on my leg and ribs despite avoiding the bed, and I can only imagine what might have happened if I'd slept in it. There was mould and dirt in the room, the place was a mess and smelled awful, and the bathroom was disgusting. The front door was broken, so we had to ring the bell and wait. We lost money by leaving early. I definitely don't recommend it.

For one night for two people, breakfast included, the price was okay at 40. We struggled to find the place because the address on Booking was wrong, and only got there after searching for a long time. The volunteer who helped us was incredibly nice and made our stay comfortable; the rest of the staff were great too, including at breakfast the next day. The room was chilly, though not as cold as some B&Bs we've stayed in, and I needed a thick jumper to sleep. There was free parking in front, but not much of it, and I imagine it gets busier in summer. It was fine for a short stay and might be better in summer with the beach next door.

We paid 45€ for my wife and me, about half what a hotel would cost, even without the included full breakfast. We arrived late, but a lovely woman found us a room and cooked breakfast in the morning. It had a large room and private bathroom, with older furnishings, and felt like a big house converted into bedrooms. There was a hostel feel, though nobody was hanging around, even with the town busy and other B&Bs full. She mentioned that we could pay by credit somehow, but bring cash. The location may be marked incorrectly, so look for "Evergreen House Accomodation". I submitted a Google edit.

This is family-run Evergreen House Accommodation, a youth-hostel-style place right by the beach in Youghal. I loved my stay and had no complaints, though the ensuite showers could use a bit more cleaning. It's very close to Clancy's bar and the entertainment around town, with bus stops nearby for services to Cork city and Waterford City. If this style of accommodation isn't for you, there are B&Bs and hotels farther into town.

It was run down and extremely basic, with no facilities, and even one night was more than enough. Breakfast was a joke. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper, then shouting from another room woke us up and terrified my nine-year-old. We left first thing and ate breakfast in town. I would definitely NOT recommend this place. If I could give it less than one star, I would.
