The only good thing was being close to the beach. Our rooms were awful and too small, with a strong wax smell in the air. The air-conditioning kept switching off, and the service was terrible. They wouldn’t give us a second towel or change the dirty bed sheets. At dinner, they also refused to give us another glass. The water was so dirty it tasted like bleach.

There’s a lovely balcony overlooking some old ruins, and the beds were comfortable. The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was decent. Since it was included in the price, I thought it was good by my standards. The location is great, with a paid parking lot right next door, which is handy if you’re driving. For Israel, it was a pretty good deal too.

I had a great time wandering around and taking in the ocean from the rooftop. The view was INSANE! The rooms are standard but nice, and the spacious lobby works well for hanging out with friends. There were kids everywhere. I’m only seventeen myself, so I didn’t mind, but older guests might. We were pretty loud and wandered the halls whenever we felt like it. Fun for us, maybe less so for older folks.

The location and service were both great, and they responded quickly when I asked reception to replace an old, dirty mattress. We had a nice stay. Still, I’m giving it three stars because the food was below average and the rooms weren’t maintained well. I know it’s not the Hilton, but they could have done a better job.
