The rooftop was the best part for us. We had the whole space to ourselves and spent a few relaxing hours there in the morning. The owners were welcoming and hospitable, and their food recommendations were good. We’d booked a standard room but got a complimentary upgrade when we arrived.

We started our Israel trip here, and the welcome at the front desk was the best I’ve had, even after staying at plenty of five-star hotels. The clerk sat us down for 10-15 minutes, showed us an Akko map, and suggested restaurants, sights, and places to walk by the water. I’ve never had such a thorough orientation to a hotel and its area. Our room, the Peacock Room, was an architectural wonder. The owner was another highlight. We’d planned to tour Akko with him on our last day, but in the pouring rain he joined us at breakfast and talked for about 45 minutes instead. His story of the hotel’s history was spellbinding. He and his father rebuilt it after riots in 2021 destroyed the property. He’s Israeli and trusted and liked in the Arab community where the hotel is, though politics sometimes overtake personal ties between Israelis and Arabs. I wish him and his family well as they welcome visitors from around the world. Please stay here. It’s an experience you won’t forget.

A family-run place with local employees, right in the heart of Acre. You get the feel and views of old Acre both inside and out, and all the main sights are within walking distance. It’s clean and comfortable, and breakfast is generous, varied, and high quality. Thanks 🙏
