Inbar Hotel

I had a comfortable stay and would definitely return or recommend it. I met three receptionists, and each was very polite and pleasant. One bed's mattress was a bit hard, though not too bad, while the other was soft and comfortable.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The air conditioning didn't work properly, breakfast ended at 9am, and the pool was only open on Friday and Saturday.

The breakfast was the only decent part. Nothing special, but enough to get you through the first half of the day. The hotel was dirty, and the exterior looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Rooms were small and dusty, and I needed two antihistamine pills to get my allergy under control. They also seemed not to have been renovated or painted for many years. The curtains let outside light in, and the cheap mattresses were uncomfortable, so don't expect a good night's sleep. When guests in the room next to ours had technical trouble, the hotel sent a maintenance worker instead of moving them. He banged away with a hammer and other tools after 10PM and woke our children. Since it's the only hotel in the city, they charge quite a lot for very little. I'd recommend finding somewhere else to stay, even if it's a bit farther from where you're going.

The pool water was nice, and it’s right by the elevators to the rooms, but the pool itself is tiny and only open Friday and Saturday. Rooms use key based locks that work for Shabbat, and the larger rooms have bigger fridges. Breakfast was decent. The accommodations are basic, though, with nothing particularly special.
