Regina Goren Hotel

The receptionist was kind and helpful, and the hotel's best feature is its location, close to the beach and plenty of restaurants. My room was clean, but quite small. I couldn't find room to open my trolley, and the bathroom was a bit old.

We had a nice time, and I'd recommend it if you plan to spend most of your time at the beach or exploring the area. It's affordable, reasonably clean, and within walking distance of the beach and marina. The staff were hospitable and very helpful. Some rooms have large balconies overlooking the beach. The downsides: maintenance was lacking, some furniture was out of shape, and hot water pressure was very low. The decor and architecture are dated, the building feels cramped, and the rooms are small, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was basic, and there wasn't much for kids to do at the hotel.

We had a terrible weekend here. The shower door once locked me inside, and later my friend and I were trapped in our room for an hour when the lock broke. The staff were mean and unfriendly, and didn't seem focused on customer service. Breakfast was small, with few vegan options.

We stayed for a few days as a group of four. The staff were really nice and helpful, and our rooms were tidy and clean, though not very big. The hotel is close to a beautiful beach and some good cafes and restaurants. Try Archie and Jack across from the hotel.
